Embracing True Stories
I am a storyteller to my core. Through journalism, I tell the stories. Photography captures them, writing communicates them, and publication design displays them. Public relations broadcasts and ushers the story to the masses. In my travels, I hear and see others’ stories firsthand and develop more of my own. Design offers still more opportunities to participate in the vocation of the story: Whether creating a logo, developing consistent branding or producing invitations, I convey the clients’ story in a way both compelling and true to them.
I have thrown myself into journalistic endeavors since high school, always seeking additional avenues to tell true stories—my own and others’. My two bachelors degrees (Bachelor of Arts in History and Bachelor of Science in Journalism & Mass Communications), minors in professional writing and political science and my varied and extensive work experience arm me to tell my clients’ stories through a huge variety of applications. Clients who bring unique requests offer me a coveted chance to grow and evolve as a professional and artist.
